...Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system and famous for its mobile red spot and tremendous gravitational field. When it comes to interacting with Jupiter the gravitational pull is so strong that if you are traveling toward it, it will pull you all the way to its sphere of influence at which point you will loop and then angle away. You may not pass through the sphere of influence or you will be drawn into the planet and trapped. (see figure 10)
